Willamette Queen

Life returns to the Willamette River where once sternwheelers were the main mode of transportation.  Sternwheeler Excursions operates the 87 foot, 125 ton, twin paddlewheeler year-round from its port of Salem, Oregon, on the Willamette River.

The Willamette Queen was designed as a scaled down likeness of the former Mississippi and Yukon Territory Riverboats with paddles that really do propel her.  Built in Newport, Oregon, in 1990, she has a Coast Guard approved capacity of 108.  The dining area accommodates 82 dinner guest plus outside deck seating for 18 more.  Charter all or part of the Willamette Queen for your special occasion.  Our Captain is an ordained minister and performs weddings. 

Family reunions, anniversaries, birthdays, business meetings, non-profit fund-raisers, dinner theater, Monte Carlo parties and dance parties may be booked by calling our reservation office at 503-371-1103.
